About the Author

Randy Clare

Randy Clare is a writer, educator, and health communicator focused on making clinical information easier for non-clinicians to understand.

Through The Sleep and Respiratory Scholar, he creates clear, practical content on bruxism, headaches, sleep, airway health, and respiratory symptoms. His work is designed to help readers better understand their symptoms, recognize meaningful patterns, and take more informed next steps.

Randy is the author of The Brux Method and host of The Clenching Chronicle Podcast, where he explores jaw tension, clenching, headaches, sleep, and behavior-based approaches to relief. He also contributes to education around ClenchAlert, a biofeedback training tool designed to help people recognize and retrain jaw clenching habits associated with bruxism.

Before building his current educational platforms, Randy held several leadership roles across dental sleep medicine, digital marketing, and professional education. He served as Director of Digital Marketing at Glidewell Dental, is President of Hawkeye Group, and was co-founder of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. Through these roles, he contributed to industry education, content development, and communication strategies across dental sleep medicine and related clinical categories.

That experience continues to inform his work today, especially in the areas of patient communication, airway-related symptoms, sleep-disordered breathing, bruxism education, and practical health communication.

At The Sleep and Respiratory Scholar, his goal is simple: to make complex topics more understandable, more useful, and more relevant to everyday life.
